Canterbury: What's going on at the Tenancy Tribunal? Meth testing, accidental damage & non-compliant alterations

Nov 21, 2017 - 7.30pm start

Where: The Atrium, 455 Hagley Avenue, The Netball Centre, Hagley Park, Christchurch

Speaker: Tenancy Tribunal principal adjudicator Melissa Poole. Topic: What's going on at the Tenancy Tribunal???
Meth testing, accidental damage and non-compliant alterations - just a few of the testy topics that the Tenancy Tribunal is coming to grips with.
At the heart of these challenging issues is the Tenancy Tribunal's principal adjudicator Melissa Poole.
Melissa has a strong interest in access to justice. She's a former senior law lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington and former deputy chair of the Immigration and Protection Tribunal. Her job is to guide the Tenancy Tribunal through the transition to a new online tenancy adjudication system and to resolve legal questions concerning new issues in the tenancy jurisdiction - issues like meth contamination, landlord insurance/tenant liability and unlawful housing.
If you've got rental properties, this forum is for you - you do not want to miss the chance to ask your burning questions!
